The Sheffield Economic Summit in 2008 attracted a diverse line-up of high level contributors from government, business and regional economic development with a searching analysis of Sheffield’s economic situation in a global economy.

The 2009 event will be called RE:Inventing Business - The International Business & Economy Summit 2009 and move to the city centre’s landmark Oval Hall at the Sheffield City Hall.

The Summit is now a key regional forum supported by high profile sponsors, regional media and international keynote speakers. The event has also again secured the services of Greg Clark, a leading international facilitator on making cities and regions work.
